Lesley IvyBISHOPBovey It is with great sadness that our family announce the loss of our beloved Lesley, who passed away aged 72 peacefully at home on Friday 18th September after a long and brave battle with cancer. Devoted wife for 55 years of Gerald, cherished Mum to Diane & Chris and Joanne, much loved Nan to Jade & Rob, Aaron & Ari, Jemma & Dan, Chris & Ashton and Leanne and a precious Great Nan to Carter, Harleigh Ivy and Aria Ivy. Treasured sister to John & Colin (deceased), Linda & Patricia and all of her extended family. She will be forever missed and never forgotten a truly wonderful lady who was beautiful inside and out. Due to current restrictions a private service will be held at the Torquay Crematorium on Wednesday 7th October at 3.30pm. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Lesley for Rowcroft Hospice at home to Rowcroft Hospice, Avenue Road, Torquay, TQ2 5LS

I think about you all the time Les. So many things remind me of you. Magpies, blue butterflies, flowers in our garden, doubled up laughing trying on Ill-fitting dresses. All the presents you bought me. Shakin Stevens songs - you fancied him! Frank Ifield songs - you liked him. But you’re not just a memory Les you’re part of me and you will never leave my my heart.
