AlexanderBLACKPassed away peacefully on 22nd January 2025, at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, aged 87 years.

Devoted husband to the late Jean, dearly loved dad to George and Iain

and a treasured brother to Katherine.

Funeral service to take place at St Ninians Old Parish Church on Thursday 13th February, at 11am, thereafter to Bannockburn Cemetery, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

Donations, if so desired, will be gratefully received for St Ninians Old Parish Church.

My condolence's to the black family . Alex and I started as internet friends, because of his police history knowledge helped me with family research. We got to spend some time together in the US and Scotland on several occasions. We also shared interest in horses, my family has horses and Alex enjoyed horse back riding. I miss his witty E mails.

I knew Alex for 42 years and found him to be a gentleman and a genuine family man. He was a well respected member of the Special Constabulary and I will miss him so much. Iain McLean
