Dad I'm beyond devastated the best father a daughter could ask for you were my best friend, loving dad and one of a kind. I will take comfort that you will be reunited with mam and Stuart. I will love you for eternity.

Aged 88 dad fell asleep after a short illness. My dad was one of a kind with his dry sense of humor and bluntness. He loved life and being around people. When Mam died he missed her so much. Both of you never recovered from losing Stuart your youngest child. A parent shouldn’t ever lose a child. You worked 7 days a week to give us a good life when we were children. From your butchers van to your shop you made sure we were well cared for. I will miss his infectious laugh.A laugh so infectious it made me laugh and your zest for life. You were my constant, my best friend and the best father I could have wished for. I will love you eternally dad. Janet 💔
