A true gentleman. A professional, capable Signalman but most of all a genuine, nice guy. Proud to have worked with Ken at the very start of my career.

Ken was one of the first signallers I met when I started on the railway. When I would announce trains, he would attempt to make me laugh by telling silly jokes. He was a gentleman, calm under pressure, someone I looked up to and had the honour of working with and calling friend. He never failed to make me smile. Rest in peace Ken, you will leave a huge hole in peoples lives, but I know that when they think of you, their hearts will soar with happy memories, admiration and love.
