Passed away peacefully on 8th July 2026, aged 92 years.

Joan beloved wife of the late Walter. A much loved mam to Janis, Michael and Keith. A loving mother-in-law to John, Violet and Julie, and a much loved nana and great-nana.

Would family and friends please meet for service at West Road Crematorium on Tuesday 21st July at 12.00 noon.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if so desired to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

All welcome afterwards to the Wallsend Buffs.

Rest in peace.

I don't know where to begin, my heart broke the day you left us. You were the most beautiful, loving nana & I can't believe I won't get to ring you every week or have a vodka with you again.
My heart hurts that you won't ever get to meet your great grandson - we were so close. But you met my Oscar and he loves to point at the picture of you and granda in our living room & shouting at you when we were on the phone.
