LenaBOOCOCKMrs Lena Boocock, formerly of Newchurch Road, Rawtenstall, died at home on Friday, April 1, aged 89. Lena was a slipper operative, working at various companies in Rossendale. She came over to this country from Ireland around 1954. She loved dancing, socialising, and holidays. Lena was a parishioner at St James the Less. She leaves husband Cyril, daughter Clare, son-in-law Robert, grandson Adam, granddaughter Rachael, great-granddaughter Lily, granddaughter-in-law Kerry, and nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Friday, April 22, with Requiem Mass at St James the Less RC Church at 11am, led by Father David Lupton, followed by interment at Rawtenstall Cemetery. Donations if desired to Derian House. Donations can be made online at www. fredhamer.co.uk (tributes and donations). Funeral director: Dawn Winfield for Fred Hamer Funeral Services, Rawtenstall.
