Susan MaryBOOTH(nee O’Neill)
Born in Shaw, Oldham and residing in Bacup.
Sadly passed away at home on 26th September 2023 aged 73 years.
Susan leaves behind her loving husband of 55 years, Warren. She was a much loved mum to son Colin and his partner Tammy, daughter Wendy and son in law Chris, devoted grandmother (nana) to Andrew, Halle, Sara-Jane, Sam, Will and Jacob and loving great-grandmother to Blakely. Also a dear sister to Kathleen, Auntie and special friend to many.
She loved watching the soaps, was a big fan of singer Joe McElderry, seeing him perform live several times. Susan enjoyed spending time with her family both at home and abroad on holidays. Susan was quiet, kind and thoughtful and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Following her school years Susan began her working life as a nursery school assistant where she would occasionally entertain the children playing the piano which she had learned to play in her younger days. She then became a full time housewife bringing up her family and later taking on several part time jobs over the years including working at Horace’s Nightclub in Bacup and also as a domestic cleaner.
Funeral to take place with Service & Committal at Rochdale Crematorium on Monday 16th October 2023 at 1:20pm and after at The Halfway House, Royton.
