JulieBOWERMrs Julie Bower sadly passed away on Wednesday, February 3 after a short illness, aged 78, surrounded by her family. Born and raised in East Anglia, before marriage and moving to Rossendale. Her hobbies included drawing and painting, caravanning with her late husband Ken, Group, Art Class and Keep fit, Accrington Church. She spent most of her time bringing up her two sons Martin and Stewart, later in life working in the dry cleaners in Bank Street, before moving onto Dennons of Haslingden prior to retirement. Late husband Ken passed away seven years ago. Julie leaves behind son Martin and daughter-in-law Pam, son Stewart, sister Lynn, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. The funeral service and committal will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Monday, February 15. Family flowers only; donations if desired to Cancer Research.
