John MatthewBOWEROn 18th March 2023, aged 84. Died unexpectedly, surrounded by family. Beloved and devoted husband of DD. Proud and cherished Daddy of Emma, Clare and Helen. Adored and doting Grandpa / BaBa to Thomas, Elodie, Isla, Harry, Genevieve & Sebastian. An unreservedly loving family man, full of compassion and integrity. A fervent supporter of friends. The best bear-hugger. Private cremation. A service to celebrate John's life will take place at St Mary's, Bampton, Oxfordshire, OX18 2LZ on Wednesday 26th April at 2.30pm. Please wear bright colours. So sorry to hear this sad news. Mr Bower was my first manager at Barclays Bank Hockley Hill branch in 1986.He nurtured and guided me through those daunting first years of work - he done a great job as I remained in Barclays for 27 years! Deepest condolences to his family but please take comfort from the fact that he supported so many businesses and members of staff during his time as Branch Manager at Barclays. Rest in peace Mr Bower.
