GeorgeBOWLERGeorge Bowler, of Haslingden, passed away peacefully at home, on Saturday, November, 13, surrounded by his family. George grew up in Reedsholme, and had his own industrial cleaning business before running ‘Evelyn’s Shop’ in Crawshawbooth for many years, along with his wife Evelyn. George was a keen gardener, who also loved caravanning, spending many happy family holidays touring round. He leaves behind his wife Evelyn, son Terry, daughter Susan, and late daughter Carole, three grandchildren Laura, Lee and Dominic, and two great-grandchildren Lily and Matilda. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, November 30, 3pm, at Accrington Crematorium. Family flowers only, with donations in memory of George to Rossendale Hospice c/o funeral director.
