Phyllis Mary IreneBOYDOn the 17th October 2025, Mary aged 83 years of St Day, passed away with family by her side at Treliske Hospital following a stroke.
A dearly loved wife to Bill, Mum to Caroline, Joanne and Claire and cherished Nan to Ryan, Lauren, Aidan and Madison. Mary will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A funeral service will take place at Holy Trinity Parish Church, St Day on Thursday 13th November at 11.00am. All who knew Mary are warmly invited to attend the service. After the Church service, as a final farewell, the hearse will pass through Mary's childhood home of Pink Moors on the way to a short private cremation for close family. Everyone is invited to attend the celebration of life following the service, and will be joined shortly after by the family following Mary's cremation.
Dress code: Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, Mary would have wanted it that way. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, are welcomed in Mary's memory to Stroke Association UK and the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) can be placed in the donation box at the service.
