I have wonderful memories spending summer holidays with Cousin Reg, Uncle Joe, Aunt Kate and Cousin Julie in the camper van all those years ago. Colin and I will always remember Reg with his warm wit delivered in his rich Black Country accent.

Dad I have no words I’m heartbroken that you don’t get to watch the boys grow up and help to shape the men they will be. You are in their hearts forever with memories of football, magic tricks, animal facts and our holidays together.

I love you so much and am so blessed to call you my dad.

I still owe you one, you can have whatever you want when we meet again.

I can remember my Dad saying to me that he would never be as good of a man as his Dad was. I hope he was looking down yesterday and saw that nobody else ever questioned it.

I've never been more grateful to have inherited so much from Dad, from his sense of humour to his mannerisms.

He was the funniest, most humble man I've ever known and I can't quite believe he's gone.
