Colleen, my very first boss, but so much more than that.

I was just 16 when I walked into Della and Colleen’s, and from that moment on, you took me under your wing. You saw something in me, even when I didn’t always see it in myself, and you never once gave up on me.

You taught me everything worth knowing about hairdressing, but more importantly, you taught me about people, kindness, and pride in what you do.

You were there as I grew up, through so many stages of my life, getting married, seeing me become a mum to my two daughters.

You weren’t just my boss—you were like family.

Your warmth, your patience, and your belief in me shaped the person I am today.

I loved you dearly, Colleen, and I will always be so grateful for everything you gave me. You truly meant the world to me.

Now reunited with your lovely Len, I hope you’re both at peace together again.

I will carry so many beautiful memories of you in my heart forever.
