Simon JohnBRAMMERPeacefully at rest after a short illness on Monday 1st June 2026 whilst at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Simon aged 60 years of Clayton.

Much loved husband of Janice, loving and treasured dad of Jenny and Lauren, cherished father-in-law of Daniel and Liam, loving grandad of Lucas. Dearest brother of Susan, Nigel and brother-in-law of June. Simon will be deeply and sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends.

Funeral service and cremation at Bradwell Crematorium on Monday 22nd June 2026 at 12:40pm.

Would all those wishing to attend please meet at the crematorium.

Family flowers only please by request, donations much preferred for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice in memory of Simon. A donation box will be available at the crematorium on the day for anybody wishing to make a donation.

Only just heard this very sad news . Although only knew Simon through his position at the University of Staffordshire he was always upbeat, smiling and positive. A lovely gentleman. Rest in peace Simon.
