Passed away peacefully, after a long illness, bravely borne, aged 84 years, at Aden Court Care Home, Moldgreen, formerly of Newsome. Betty, the much loved mum of Mark & Robert, proud grandma of Ashley, Sarah, Jemma & Marcus, a loving mother-in-law of Tracy & Theresa and a good friend to many.

Funeral service and committal will be held at the Huddersfield Crematorium at 1:15pm on Thursday 5th October.

Family flowers only please but donations would be gratefully received if so desired to the Kirkwood Hospice, for which a donation box will be available.

Thank you to everyone who came to her funeral yesterday. We raised £340 for Kirkwood Hospice. What a fantastic place it is, thank you to everyone who donated she would have loved to give them something back. The care at Kirkwood was phenomenal and every single member of staff made her time there. ❤️
