Passed away 18th December 2022, after a short illness, aged 83 years.

Will be sadly missed by his sister Edna,
and nieces Angie and Helen.

Funeral service to be held at St Peter's Church, Rickerscote at 11 a.m. on Monday 16th January, followed by burial at Eccleshall Road Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations to Staffordshire Wildlife Trust.

My name is Kevin Upton. I was Doug's apprentice at Dorman Diesels in the middle 1970s.
I'm very sorry to hear of his passing & wished I could have met him again, as I left the company in 1986.
He was a very clever engineer & excellent mentor.
