DeniseBRIGGSMs Denise Briggs, of Musbury, Helmshore, died peacefully surrounded by her family at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Thursday, March 17, aged 69. Denise worked for her father’s car dismantlers in Baxenden at the start of her career, and also ran his antique trade centre in Haslingden for many years. She also worked in hospitality, retail, the beauty industry, confectioners, and catering. She leaves behind her daughter Alicia and partner Ian, granddaughters Liberty and Paris, and grandson Louis. Denise had a passion for foreign holidays and had visited many countries over the years. She loved to read, listen to music and dance. The funeral was held on Wednesday, March 30, at Holy Trinity Church Tunstead, Stacksteads, followed by burial at Stacksteads Cemetery.
