AnnBRIGHTYANN Brighty, of Union Street, Rawtenstall, died on Tuesday, August 6, at Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 73. Starting work at Bacup Shoe, she worked as a cleaner at Rossendale Town Hall and J. B. Broadley, then Rawtenstall Market cafe. She enjoyed watching soaps on TV and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Julie and leaves her husband Roy, son Steven, brothers Jack and Peter, sister-in-law Frances, grandchildren Rhiannon and Finley, nieces Joan and Hillary and son-in-law Ian. The funeral will be held on Friday, August 23, in the Chapel of Rest at 11.15am followed by service and cremation at Burnley at 12noon.
