Thomas WilfridBRITTLEBANKThe funeral took place on Monday 24th June of the late Thomas ('Tom') Brittlebank at Crewe Crematorium. Formerly of Richmond Cottage, Wistaston Green Road, Wistaston Green, Crewe, Tom passed away peacefully, at the age of 92, on 26th May at Bentley Manor Care Home, where he had latterly spent several years in residential care. Tom was devoted to the Scouting Movement for most of his life, having been appointed to the role of Assistant Scoutmaster of the 35th South West Cheshire Group in 1959. The family would like to thank all those who attended, particularly the care team from Bentley Manor Care Home, and Co-operative Funeralcare who made the arrangements. A donation has been made to Cheshire Wildlife Trust in memory of Tom's interest in wildlife.
