MarleneBROADIt is with deep regret that we announce the death of Marlene Broad (nee Howard) who passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22 at Royal Blackburn Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Marlene was the loving wife of John Broad, mother to John and Paul, sister to Eric and the late Keith Howard, sister-in-law to Carolanne, mother-in-law to Diane and to Paul's partner Charlie. Marlene was also a loving nanna to Shannon, Levi, Jaxon, Coby and a great nanna to Emelia and Oakley. Marlene was also aunty and great aunty to many.
Family, friends, and anyone who knew Marlene are welcome to come and say goodbye and help celebrate her life with us. A funeral service for Marlene will take place at Accrington Crematorium Chapel, Burnley Road, Accrington, BB56HA on Thursday, March 12 at 11am, followed by interment at Dill Hall Cemetery. Following the service family and friends are welcome to celebrate Marlene's life with us at the Whittaker's arms Burnley Road.
Family flowers only, donations if desired in memory of Marlene may be made to Asthma + Lung UK.
Marlene was greatly loved by all who knew her, and she will live in our hearts and memories forever.
