DerekBROADHURSTPeacefully passed away at Claybourne Residential Care Home, on the 7th February 2026, with his loving family by his side. Derek aged 91 years of Gillow Heath, devoted husband of Celia, a dearly loved father and father in law of Angela, John, Susan and John, a much loved grandad of James, Rachel, Kate and Alexander and a treasured great grandad of Bobbie and Ilina, also a very dear friend to many.

Derek will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving family and friends.

A service to celebrate Derek's life will be held at 10.30am on Friday 6th March at St Lawrence's Church, Biddulph, followed by committal at Carmountside Crematorium. Family and friends wishing to attend, please meet at the Church. Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Green Tree House, Biddulph in memory of Derek.
