EnidBROOKES(nee Stott) "Closed her hymn book" peacefully on Sunday 13th March 2022 at Hurstead House Care Home aged 96.

Beloved widow of the late Les Brookes, Mother of Nigel and his wife Melodie. Nannie to her grandchildren Caroline, Rachel and Jane. Great Nannie to her seven great grandchildren.

Retired manager of the Highfield Hospital. A lover of music: a soprano soloist and sometime member of the Hallé Chorus, and the choirs of Dearnley Methodist Church and St Chad's Parish Church.

Family committal at Rochdale Crematorium Followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for Enid's life at St. Chad's Parish Church, Rochdale on Friday 8th April at 11:30 a.m. at which all are welcome.
