JamesBROUGHMichael (Jim) Jim's wife Dorothy, and Jim's sons Chris and Tony and their families and step-daughter Judith, would like to express our grateful thanks for the care, support, cards and flowers received from relatives, neighbours and friends during their recent bereavement. A special thank you to Rev'd Fiona Solman, vicar of St. Helen's Church Etwall, who presented a beautiful sensitive service augmented by the organist and lovely choir who gave their time so generously. We were also touched by the people who attended the service for their sympathy, warmth and understanding. The family is also most thankful to the Derby Korean Veterans who formed a guard of honour, and the British Legion whose Bugler sounded the Last Post at the crematorium. We must also portray gratitude to the Methodist Woman's Fellowship Group who provided wonderful refreshments after the service. Jim spent eleven months in Normanton Village View Nursing Home whose staff cared for him with patience and understanding, we were deeply appreciative of their support. Whilst at home Jim received companionship and help from Donna and Carol from Social Services Department and Glen from Cross Roads. Also involved from the psychiatric Department were Dr. Hartman and Nicola a Psychiatric nurse, whose perception and guidance were invaluable. Jim also had several friends who visited him at home. Pat, Audrey, Aidan, John and Tom brought fresh interests during their time with him. In conclusion we must register our grateful thanks to G. Wathall & Sons Ltd for their Support, attention to detail and knowledgeable assistance offered with tranquillity, reassurance and confidence from Charlotte Wathall. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
