JoanBROWNNee Hawthorne Whorlton Grange Born 13th September 1933 in Byker, Newcastle to parents Arthur and Janet. Died suddenly in the Freeman Hospital on 14th July, aged 87 years. Much loved wife of the late Billy and loving mam to Eileen, Janice and David and their spouse Michael, Ray and Michelle. Amazing nana to grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Dorothy, Audrey and Helen, Brothers Arthur and Lesley sadly deceased. Will be greatly missed by all. Funeral to be held on Wednesday 28th July at 11.15am at the West Road Crematorium. Family Flowers only. Donations for the British Heart Foundation can be made at the service. Private family gathering afterwards.

Still finding it hard to believe that you’re no longer here but we talk about you and Dad all the time. Sharing great memories of a wonderful Mam and Dad, who gave us their very best at all times.
