The jigsaw that kept the family together but mams broken that cycle now . Keep watching over us nana we miss you and still don’t understand why it was you who left

Happy birthday to my beautiful mam. ❤️ Today should be a day filled with celebrating you, but instead I’m left wishing with all my heart that you were still here.
I miss you more than words could ever explain. I miss your voice, your hugs, your smile, and all the little things I never realised I would miss so much. Life has carried on around me, but there will always be a part of me that feels like it stopped the day the day you died broke me and I’m lost
People say that time makes things easier, but honestly, it doesn’t feel that way. I feel it gets harder I would give anything for one more conversation, one more cuddle, one more rant/nag, one more birthday with you.
I hope wherever you are up there you know how incredibly loved you are and how much you are still missed every single day. You will always be my mam, always be a part of me, and always have a place in my heart.

A year ago today I visited you in the Chapel at the funeral directors 🥹 I drove past yesterday on the way to b and m I was so emotional, yet felt so close and loads of memories flooded back . It most certainly doesn’t get easier it gets so much harder!! I miss you and the kids miss you aj is your carbon copy mouth and personality! The jigsaw that’s kept our family together may no longer be here but you are giving us signs I just wish you never left mam like why did it have to be you? You should be watching the kids and ya great grandchildren and going out with me and Karl for food and drives still! I love you mam
