My Auntie Maureen.

Deepest sympathy to our Carl, Lyndsey and Patsy, all the brothers and sisters who survive her and her grandchildren.

Mo was a “leg-end” 🤣. I have very many fond memories growing up in their charge running around Fontenoy Gardens; her and Vinny made me proud as a young man with their true socialist views and honest and most genuine moves to better the lives of others (I don’t ever remember them being selfish and thinking about themselves.)

They made me so proud I joined the Labour Party at 17 years of age and then joined them in the constituency party when I was 18. They always wanted the best for Fontenoy and its people.

My politics today are so far removed from back then but they taught me great principles about a collective responsibility and that’s their legacy that will live within my mind until I depart this world.

Genuine and true concerns about people, something I believe lacks in a lot of people these days and that is what we will miss most about: “Our Mo!”

Always loved you and Vinny (how could you not!)

Good night & God bless xxx
