James, of Dalton, Huddersfield, was a proud Ghanaian who moved to the UK in the 1970s. A much-loved character by all who knew him, he leaves behind his devoted wife, Augustina, and his children Stanis, Cybil, Justin, Keith, Vidal, and Ruth. James was a loving grandfather to 12 grandchildren, a great grandfather, a cherished brother to his siblings in Ghana, the USA, and the UK, and a good friend to many.
In his younger years, James enjoyed playing professional table tennis, travelling the world, representing his passion and skill with pride.
A funeral service will be held at St Paul's Methodist Church 341 Wakefield Road, Moldgreen, HD5 8DE at 12:00 Noon on Friday 5th September, followed by interment at the Hey Lane Cemetery, Castle Hill, HD4 6TX
