I'm deeply sadden to hear of your passing John. Almost 3 years have passed when you came to see me in a dream. So I sort to find out why. We grew up briefly as kids. You went your way I went mine. My journey lead me to South Australia. I'm shocked and mostly disappointed in myself for not staying in touch or remained friends with you. I am 4 days older than you and each birthday of mine I do remember yours. Age wearies us but memories linger. God bless you John and rest in peace and may we meet again on the other side. I would like to leave a tribute for my brother, John.
I'll begin by saying that John was a very private and proud man, and I will be very mindful of that when I pay tribute to him.
John passed peacefully away on 8 February 2023, aged 60 years.
John was probably the bravest person I will ever know, and the decisions he made in the later years of his life showed his tremendous strength and courage. Our dad and myself have nothing but complete respect and admiration for him.
John was a true gentle giant, with a giant sized heart to match. John was kind, considerate and thoughtful. John was full of good humour, with a hearty laugh. He tried to see the positives in whatever life threw at him. John was an excellent athlete and enjoyed playing sport. He was advised at one point to take up boxing, but no one would get in the ring with him!
John was always my 'Champion' ... whether I wanted him to be or not ... and I am heartbroken I will never see him again.
I miss John more than words can say, but I do believe and hope we will meet again. John, you have my love and respect and may God bless you
My love always ... and we always said 'proost!'
Elaine xxx
