Margaret JoanBURGESSMargaret aged 84 years of Macclesfield, peacefully passed away in hospital on Sunday 3rd July 2022. Dearly loved wife of the late John, much loved dad of Carole and Stephen and loving nana of George, Patrick and Joshua. Margaret will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. A Service of Thanksgiving will take place on Monday 8th August 2022 in Holy Trinity Church, Hurdsfield at 10.30am followed by interment into the family grave in Macclesfield Cemetery. Family flowers only by request, donations if desired maybe sent for The Stroke Association or The East Cheshire Hospice. "Sister Burgess/Marge" as she was known to us, was someone we all loved and respected.
She was my late father's most trusted and deeply valued colleague and his friend. She showed our whole family kindness, thoughtfulness and love that it is hard to put into words. At every occasion in our lives, she was there with gifts and kind words. She was a woman of extraordinary compassion and care. My father always said "The world should be better because you were in it". This was completely true for Marge. She was wonderful and she will be deeply missed. We send her whole family our deepest condolences and much love, The Rahman family x
