BrianBURNELLPeacefully on Monday March 1, 2021 Brian of Wick Road, Ewenny, beloved father of Andrew, Jane, Jonathan and Daniel much loved father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather. Private funeral service and interment will be held at Ewenny Priory Church on Friday March 19. Family flowers only. Remembering Brian
Talking to my cousin Jackie Cheater after many years, she lives in Australia, she asked did I remember Dad (nickname) who drove the Gang in his blue van in the 60s on trips to Barry and around the Vale (unbeknown to Parents). At first I had no recollection, but slowly the name and Ewenny came to me, so I did a Google and saw the picture and the sad news. It’s a long time ago, but happy memories of lovely times past as carefree teens, Brian was the only one who drove and older, hence the nickname Dad. Lots of Kids from the surrounding Villages will hold fond memories for Brian.
