Many decades ago I was driving along a country lane in my Morris Series E on Exmoor, and out of the Bushes (probably the mist) appeared this guy carrying a sword-stick. He turned out to be Peter - also from Bristol. This was the start of so many marvellous experiences usually linked to pubs with a piano and some near disasters at sea; rest assured, I dramatise!

Peter was a proud father and grandfather, an endearing and entertaining friend, and a gentleman who liked nothing better than to entertain. We will miss him. May he rest in peace, Mary and Andy Britton xxx
