YvonneBUTLERPassed away non 9th August 2025 aged 73 at the Royal Derby Hospital following a long illness. Her Husband of 56 years, her 2 sons and sister Lorraine were with her when she passed peacefully.
Von was the loving Wife of Phil, Mother to Christian, Simon and the late Melissa, an adored Nan and Great Nan, friend to many and will be sorely missed.
Daughter of the late Dennis and Thirza (Dot) and step daughter of the late Derek Wood.
Vons' funeral service will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium on Thursday 11th September at 1.30 pm.
Family flowers only please but if desired donations may be made after the service in favour of ward 303 at the Royal Derby Hospital where she spent her last few weeks.
I would like to thank all the people who cared for Von throughout her illness and multiple hospital stays. The care, dedication and compassion she received were outstanding.
Vons' philosophy in life was, "if you can't do someone a good turn then don't do them a bad one." And she remained true to this.
