EvelynBUTTERWORTHMrs Evelyn May Butterworth, nee O’Brien, of Mitton Road, Whalley, died at Croft Rest Home, Whalley, on Saturday, June 5, aged 76 years. She was a dinner lady at Northern School, and Britannia CP, a sewing machinist, and before retirement was a domestic at Burwood Care Home in Bacup. Evelyn enjoyed knitting, gardening, family trees, and holidays in the UK, Ireland, and Europe in the motorhome. Mother of the late Mark Butterworth, who died October 1995, she leaves husband David Bradley Butterworth, son Paul Butterworth, daughter Leanne Zoe Sharpe, granddaughter Ellie Nicole Wroe, son-in-law Kevin Sharpe, sister Sandra Beardsworth and brother-in-law John Beardsworth, nieces and nephews, and all her many friends at Reminiscent Café, Bacup. The funeral is due to be held on Thursday, June 17, 11.30am at Burnley Crematorium,. No flowers, donations if desired to Mearley Fold Day Care Centre, Clitheroe.
