The obituary notice of Roger BUTWELL

I first met Roger in the early 1970's when I joined the local cine club, I was struck at what a
friendly and interesting man he was. After the Cine club meetings we would go back to his house where we would talk about every subject under the sun until well after midnight.
I saw Roger less after we moved from Tewkesbury but we always kept in touch via phone and email and I would meet up with him from time to time.

Much of my knowledge of film-making came from Roger and his dad Harry I liked them both very much, Roger was a really decent fellow and I am very sad he is no longer with us.
