PeterBYARDIt is with immense sadness that we announce that Peter sadly passed away surrounded by his loving family at Spencer Grove Care Home on Monday 22nd December 2025 aged 88 years. Peter was a dearly loved husband to Jenifer, a devoted father to Kathryn and Louise a treasured grandad to James, Scott, Kara and Chris and great granddad to Ruby, Lyla, Erin and Ava and a respected brother to Janet and brother in law to Stuart. Peter will be sorely missed by all his family and many friends. A service to celebrate Peter's life is to be held at Amber Valley Memorial Park and Crematorium, Swanwick on Wednesday 28th January 2026 at 12:00noon. Family flowers only please, donation in lieu will support the work of Cancer Research UK, these maybe made at the service, online at rydefunerals.co.uk/donations or cheques made payable to the charity maybe sent c/o Thomas Ryde & Son, Belper. Peter's family thank you for your support at this difficult time.
