Mary passed away peacefully at St Bedes Hospice on August 23rd aged 94 years surrounded by her loving family.
A beloved wife of the late Stanley (Stan), loving mam of Andrew, Ian, Stephen, Paul and the late David, a dear mother in law and a devoted nana and great nana. Also a dearest sister of the late John and Isabel, a great friend to Lily and to all who knew her.
Would family and friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St Augustines RC Church Leam Lane on Friday September 5th at 10.00 am followed by interment at Heworth Old Cemetery at 11.00 am.
Family flowers only please donations in lieu to St Bedes Hospice.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at St Bedes Hospice Gateshead for the wonderful compassionate care and support Mary received throughout her illness.
All are welcome to a venue to be announced after the service to celebrate her life.
