Catherine BeatriceCAFFERKEY(née Durcan) Sadly passed away at home surrounded by her loving family, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She is now reunited with her beloved parents, Martin (Charlestown, Co. Mayo, IRL) and Kitty (Kilbehenny, Co. Cork, IRL).

Beloved wife of Martin. Precious mum to Martin, Michael, Seamus, Sean, Cathy and Mary-Christina. Loving grannie to Caitlin, Niamh, Roisin, Katie, Evelyn, Phelim, Seamus, Lauren, Ciaran, Caileen and Daniel. A much loved sister to Martin, Bea'una and Mary and dear mother in law to Helen, Jeanette, Helen, Bryan and Jason. She will be forever missed by all her relatives and friends who knew her.

Catherine's funeral service will be held on Monday 1st September at St Mary and St Modwen's Church at 12.00pm. Details of the venue for the wake will be announced at the service.

Family flowers only please, however if you wish to make a donation to Catherine's favourite charity, the link is columbans.co.uk/how-you-can-help/donate/

Parking is available at the Church car park, to the left of the entrance, and further parking is available in the neighbouring public car park within Middleway Retail Park.

Really saddened to read this announcement. I've known Catherine since we started St Modwen's Primary School. Lovely girl then and throughout her life. Adoring Mum and very caring of all of her family and friends.
