YvetteCAMERONSadly, passed away on 16th October 2025 aged 79 years.

Yvette was born and lived in London, then moved to Epsom, Frimley, Farnham and settled in Hartland, Devon. She enjoyed all music and most enjoyed dancing to New Orleans jazz all over the country. She loved all animals and the countryside and of course her Labradors, Buddy, Toby & Dougal. She enjoyed making people laugh and saw the funny side of life, in spite of suffering from Crohn's disease most of her life.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday 14th November, 2pm at Atlantic Rest Natural Burial, Woolley, Morwenstow.

Yvette's request was for everyone to wear something red.

Family flowers only please but donations in lieu for The Dog's Trust may be given at the service or c/o

A H Johns Funeral Services, Maple Park, Woolsery, Bideford EX39 5QP.

Yvette - always full of fun, caring and compassionate, despite battling with Chron’s all her adult life. She endured so much without complaint and certainly lived life to the full.
I first met Yvette when we worked together in 1985 and we became firm friends, particularly enjoying nights out at the Blues events at Farnham Maltings amongst other things. Life threw up obstacles on the way, but Yvette was always there to help me find my way and we supported each other.
I can remember how excited Yvette was when she discovered the inglenook fireplace in her cottage in Red Lion Lane and her joy of the garden in the cottage in Morwenstow. How she laughed when I went on a solo walk in the area and got chased by cows!
After Yvette moved to the West Country we didn’t see a lot of each other, but we always kept in touch. I still have newspaper clippings on my noticeboard that Yvette sent me, always with a comic animal theme. She was devoted to her dogs – dear Buddy who I met and then Toby and Dougal. We shared a love of wildlife and animals, particularly dogs!
Yvette was always kind and cared for the environment and all her friends. I am so happy that she found such wonderful friends in Hartland.
Dear Yvette, you will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace in your woodland setting dear friend.
