JoanCANDLISHGateshead. Joan, Sister to Philip & John, Mother to Edward, Mother-in-law to Jan, Nanna to Brian & Paul & Great Nanna to six Great Grandchildren. Loved by all and will be forever missed. Joan passed away peacefully at the QE Hospital on the 3rd of January 2022. Family & close friends are invited to attend Joan's service on Friday 21st January, 9:45am, at Saltwell Crematorium, followed by snacks & refreshments at The Nine Pins Bar & Restaurant. Thank you for sharing the biggest milestones of our lives with us, travelling half way across the world for our Wedding and arrival of our first son. We were devastated that world events prevented you being here for our second. We will miss your fabulous laugh, quick wit and easy smiles. With you we always felt loved. Our heart is heavier now, but we know you’re with us still - loving us from afar.
