Eileen TonyCARRCARR Eileen Tony, Jill, Alison and Matthew would like to thank everyone who visited gran during her stay in Carter Bequest Hospital and for all the love and prayers following her death. The cards, letters and telephone calls we have received gave us tremendous comfort. The Thanksgiving Service at St. Mary's Church, Acklam, led by Rev. John Hearn, assisted by Rev. Daniel Cooke and Rev. Matthew Evans, brought a fitting conclusion to a very long and active life, she would have appreciated the hymns being sung with such enthusiasm by the choir and large congregation and would have approved the excellent afternoon tea afterwards at the Masonic Hall. Our thanks must be extended to Jim Ross and everyone at Crake & Mallon for their care and attention to detail.
