JohnCARTEROn Saturday 16th August, John, of Church Rd, Cadoxton, passed away peacefully at home aged 91yrs.

Devoted husband of the late Cynthia, much-loved father of Katrina and Neil, and respected father-in-law to Michael. Loving brother to Margaret. Doting and much-loved Grampa John to Gemma and Amy, and to his Great Grandchildren, Charlie, Adam, Reuben and Elizabeth. Respected Grandfather-in-law to Leighton and Jonathan.

The funeral service will be held at St Catwg's Church, Cadoxton on Friday 5th September at 12.45pm followed by cremation at Margam Crematorium at 1.45pm. Black dress optional.

Family flowers only, but please donate to Neath MIND Mental Health Charity, who supported John so compassionately,

I never had the chance to meet John, but I did meet his son Neil. Neil’s kindness, his principles, and his loving nature speak volumes about the man who raised him. If children are a credit to their parents, then John must have been a truly remarkable soul. I’m so sorry for your loss.

John will be greatly missed by me and my sons, we loved to sit and chat with him for hours in the local coffee shop.. A true gentleman and great company. Miss you John, Rest easy!
