Michael GranvilleCARTERMick suddenly passed on the 12th of November 2025 at home, aged 84 years.

Husband to the late Maureen and the late Joyce, loving and caring father to Chris, much loved step-dad to Margaret, Karen, Andy and Charlie, step-grandad to Craig, Mark, Neil, Katie and Daniel, great-grandad and a good friend to many.

Would family and friends please meet at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on Tuesday the 9th of December 2025 at 12noon for service and committal.

Family flowers only please, however donations are gratefully accepted for 'Aortic Dissection Awareness' c/o

I worked on steelworks contracts for Mick Carter many years ago and you couldn't ask for a better Engineer to work for.I then met him years later on my masonic journey and kept in touch with him for over 20 years untill his passing .

there isn't day gone by that I've missed your appearence always a very happy man that has he own issues to deal with the Tilted Barrel doesn't seem the same without you always sat in the same spot and if someone else was sat there they instantly parted
which brings the song clown to the left of me jokers to the right
