FrederickCARTLIDGEUnexpectedly while at home on Monday 9th January 2023, Fred, aged 82 years of Biddulph. The devoted and most beloved husband to Nora, a cherished uncle and a good friend and dear neighbour to many. Fred will be greatly missed by all his loving family and many friends. The funeral service will take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Wednesday 15th February 2023 at 1.20 pm. Will relatives please accept this the only intimation, would friends wishing to attend kindly meet for the service. Family flowers only by request, donations preferred and gratefully received to The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association C/o the funeral director. Fred was a lovely man and a treasured friend for many years. Always happy to help and good to chat with.
Very much loved as a friend and a godfather, Fred will be very much missed.

Uncle Fred was a kind gentle and inspirational man. I will miss his dry sense of humour and genuine caring nature.

Fred was a truly lovely chap who would do anything for anybody. He was a good friend to me when we were work colleagues and although we recently only kept in touch via e-mail, his sad loss was a shock to me and I will miss his kind words. RIP Fred
