🌹 A Tribute to My Mum
My Mama B was the steady heart of our family, loving us with a strength that never wavered. Her faith and devotion shaped our lives in ways we will carry forever.
When I was a child fighting for my life after a severe head injury, she went to Quiapo Church and made a promise to the Black Nazarene: that I would walk on my knees from the church door to the altar, dressed in Black Nazarene clothes, if I survived. That vow became part of my journey, a living reminder of her courage and her faith.
Her passing on the Feast of the Black Nazarene felt deeply meaningful, as though her story had come full circle. My sister Cherryl and I continue to follow her example sharing her strength, her devotion, and her love with our family.
Mum, thank you for your unconditional love. You remain our guide, our strength, and our greatest blessing. Your memory lives in everything we do.
