AliceCHAPMANAfter a very short illness, on Wednesday, June 5, Alice, aged 96 years formerly of Robert Street, Accrington passed away at Royal Blackburn Hospital. Alice was the much loved wife of the late Frank, mum of Bruce and the late Paul, mother-inlaw of Karen, sister of the late Maurice, auntie of Sandra and dear friend to Dorothy. Alice loved dancing and this is how she met Frank who she later married in 1950. She owned and ran a painter and decorator supply shop and enjoyed many holidays in the caravan with their family. She also enjoyed crafting and regular meetings with the Huncoat Ladies along with days out with Dorothy. Her funeral will take place at Accrington Crematorium on Wednesday, June 26 at 3pm. Donations in memory of Alice may be made to The MS Society c/o Hyndburn Funeral Services.
