Wilfrid Lewis (Wilf) Emmie LyndaCHIDLEYCHIDLEY Wilfrid Lewis (Wilf) Emmie, Lynda, Chris and all the family wish to extend their thanks to all those who supported us and attended the celebration of Wilf's long and happy life, at St. Mary's Church, Rockbeare, or sent flowers and messages of sympathy. To those who gave generously to the Devon Air Ambulance Trust and the Ottery St. Mary Medical Trust. Special thanks to Chris Knott of Topsham for his warm and uplifting service. We are truly grateful to Dr. Matthew King and the Coleridge Medical Team for their kindness, concern and TLC shown to Wilf over the past few years, together with the wonderful staff of Culm Ward at the RD&E (Wonford). Thanks to Lisa for her care over the last few months, also to Lesley and David for all their friendship, help and kindness shown to both Wilf and Emmie. To Kathryn at Topsham Florist for the beautiful floral tributes. Sincere thanks to Deborah and Justin for the gracious and professional way you carried Wilf on his final journey by horses and carriage. A fitting tribute to a man who never lost the love of the land or working with horses. Heartwarming thanks to Stephen, Simon, Glen, Chris, Sam, Darrell and Jamie for walking the extra mile and carrying Poppa on his final journey, also to Lynsey, Glen and Danielle for the amazingly beautiful tributes you read to Poppa - he was so proud of you all. A sincere and special thank you to Alan at Luxton's for your invaluable help and the meticulous attention to detail in carrying out the arrangements with us for Wilf. Lastly the biggest thank you of all to Wilf, for being the most amazing, big hearted, loving and kind man we will ever know. A devoted family man to his wife, daughter, grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. You taught us so much about the true meaning of life, and love and respect for others. God Bless You. Luke 10 vs 30 37 (The Good Samaritan).
