I have only just learned of Ken's passing. I met him back in Juy 1988 whe I was working as Rolling Stock inspector(RSI) at Springs Branch Wigan. I gave him some assistance with the returning of Lady from Southport to Laira. The attached photo shows Ken in the class 31 hauling Lady past Springs Branch.
A pleasure to have met him.
RIP.

RIP Ken.
I only learnt of your passing recently.
Fond memories of you during the period that you were instrumental in securing purchase of D1048 Western Lady as a Board member of the company.
Lady has, recently, come back into my life, having been gifted to WLA late last year. I now reside in area in semi-retirement & visit the old girl as often as possible as a WLA member.
It is my intention to place a small plaque or photograph in tribute to you in 'A' end cab.
Any family members that object may contact me via Facebook.

Terry Coleman.
