Passed away peacefully in hospital on 10th December aged 89 surrounded by his devoted family.
Beloved husband of Margaret and dearly loved dad to Mark and Julie and father-in-law to Charlotte and Stephen, everloving grandad to Ben, Oliver, Jonathan and Abigail and great-grandad to Bridget, Harry, Margot and Teddy, treasured brother to Doris and the late Lily, Jenny, Sally and Albert.
Funeral service to celebrate Bill's life will take place at St Edward's Church, Whitley Bay on Tuesday 6th January at 11.30am, this will be followed by a service at Whitley Bay Crematorium.
Family flowers only. Donations to Alzheimer's Society, there will be a collection box at the back of the church on the day of the service.
Afterwards, everyone is invited to join the family at St Mary's Lighthouse Suite, Spanish City, Whitley Bay.
