If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, we'd walk right up to heaven, and bring you home again
We all miss you such a lot

My husband Roy told me of a time both he and his dad played rugby together in Peterborough, Ontario Canada. Roy spoke about it with passion to me, describing every move and moment. My husband told me that after the game the team went to the pub for a few pints and a sing along. Liam Nagle, Roy’s friend at the time asked John why he dived to tackle someone when he was twenty yards away from him. John told the Liam “well, my mind told me to narrow the angle, but my body heck no; I’m not running over there”
I could tell by the way my husband Roy talked about it, that even today it means a lot to him. To have played the game of Rugby together. A special moment for my husband. That he will remember forever. We will both see you again John
