BrendaCLAWSONBrenda Alma Clawson passed away in her own home in Waterfoot on Sunday, May 22 at the age of 88. She didn’t have any recent illness and was generally in good health. Her passing came as a shock to all her loved ones. Brenda had one child, Simon, and she will be remembered dearly by him, his wife, family, and all her friends. She was predeceased by her brother Donald and sister Alice. Brenda lived and worked in the valley all her life, and was very knowledgeable about the area she grew up in. She was a regular visitor at Rawtenstall Library as she loved reading, also travelling, keeping fit, knitting, and loved cats. The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, June 11, at 10am at St Nicholas Church, Newchurch, Rossendale, where Brenda was a long standing regular member of the congregation.
